About your TherapistCaroline Arnold trained at the Northern Institute of Massage, to advanced level, following her passion for Baby Massage whilst working as a Midwife and on the Special Care Baby unit. She has spent the last 25 years working as a Nurse utilising her many talents and expertise in Diabetes, Midwifery, Health visiting and counselling as well as mother and wife. Caroline is able to work in a unique way, by assessing the whole person and providing a holistic touch for the body and mind. Caroline was trained by Caroline is an associate member of the L.C.S.P. Members are required to reach a high standard and to renew registration annually whilst maintaining evidence of continued training. Treatments may vary in length according to individual needs and the areas to be treated. A medical and surgical history is taken and any problems discussed in order to ascertain the best possible course of treatment. It may also be necessary to consult with your G.P or Consultant, but confidentiality is always maintained. You will be required to remove your outer clothing but towels are used to maintain privacy. Subsequent visits will consist of reviewing progress and adapt treatment as required. At all times you will be given explanations and agree on a treatment plan, this may vary according to individual needs. How oftenEach course of treatment is personalised. It may be a one off or a course over several weeks and months. You may benefit from monthly maintenance. This will be discussed at each appointment. |

Remedial MassageFOR: A deep massage that uses techniques to release muscles and manipulate soft tissue. Is used to treat aches, pains and stresses associated with every day life as well as muscle and soft tissue injuries. The treatment gives the ability to manage pain associated with chronic diseases such as arthritis, poor circulation associated with Diabetes and heart disease together with maintenance of movement. |

Sports MassageFOR: Muscle and soft tissue injuries, pre and post event massage, maintenance massage whilst training.

Therapeutic MassageFOR: Stress relief and relaxation using a blend of oils.

Baby MassageSessions are run on a 6 week basis allowing parents to learn how to, massage their own baby. Includes use of oils, hints and techniques for coping with sleeplessness, colic, improving balance, strength and flexibility, aid with sitting and walking development. By utilising her many years as a Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor she is able to ensure that clients are treated effectively and safely and will work with other health care professionals in order to enhance the total care package.
